Thanks for talking! My question is how much domain knowledge and practical experience do you need (if any) when building AI tools for different banking departments? Would developing my broader sector knowledge give me an edge if my coding skills aren’t quite on par with some colleagues, or is technical expertise all that matters. (Not interested in becoming a product manager, for reference)
Morning, thank you for your availability.
I would like to ask you, concerning the AI potential. How, about you, the right equilibrium between “AI-Driven”, and “AI-Assisted”? Leaving by a definition of the “good innovation”, as the “innovation capable of combining new services with market integrity, security, and investor protection”, is possibile to define a border for this discipline in every Continent?
Regarding the major risk of fraud in “transaction banking”, where the major risk, in Europe or in United States? I ask in legal and reputational risks, and about statical terms.
I remain at your disposal.
Thank you.

There’s enough free educational content where this is unnecessary to learn the material. However, for those hiring managers who arent able to discern skills and rely on accreditations, it could make a difference in whether you are considered for a role. If you do choose to get an accredation, I would asses the professor teaching the coursework, check former students reviews, any curriculum you can review in advance, whether there are office hours, and what the balance between lectures vs. Practice implemention is. You also have to decide if you even want to work for someone who cant discern skills outside accreditation…and to what degree you would actually be learning anything from them.
You should absolutely expand your knowledge into domains for the businesses you would be developing AI solutions for. However, many data scientists and ai engineers are not able to write production level code, and so their solution prototypes have a difficult time getting operationalized. So do familiarize yourself with the path to prod process at a minimum. Understanding your customers domain and what it takes to get a working, reliable, stable solution in their hands will make you a valuable hire.
Thank you very much for the answer - I appreciate it. The money doesn’t mean much to me, but if it’s practically useless…
If it’s not too much to ask, could you recommend some of that “free educational content”? I have my winter break coming up now and am well-prepared for my exams ![]()
Morning,
Thank you for your availability. Is the third time that I have to write this question. Thank you for your answer, if possible.
