Sorry I must have missed the names of the recruitment firm or headhunters in that article. I did reach out to one person who then simply said “oh, good timing… buy my book about that” which was less than helpful.
Hmm. You could try Mark Somers at the Somers Partnership in London. In Singapore there’s Pierre Pineau at Agreus. I can’t verify how good either of them are but we’ve quoted them in articles in the past

Not many headhunters and FO is an odd world, I was approached by a crypto family office (made their money mining) via a headhunter who wanted their 10s millions managed so they set one up, hired 5quants paying them around 1mil/yr, and all they could produce was 20%/yr discretionary and not much more automated, they were not happy when I said I can manage more than that on my own with better returns and lower risk, you kind of just have to know the right people and not sure how you transition back if it doesn’t work out.
