Heard through the grapevine that the Meta cuts will continue into the year. Aiming for 20% headcount reduction now rather than just 10%.

According to my sources meta started downsizing in May of 2026 by sending out notification to employees. currently breaking a record for the largest companywide layoffs ever a much boarder strategic move, some workforce will be reallocated to a newly constructed AI team most of the employees will get a Servance package, and it’s summer off!
Real ones remember when Meta held the record for largest single stock fall of all time. What was it, like a $250bn or something decline?
