UBS is unfairly rated tbh. Most people treat it as a really bottom tier bank (Tier 6 here) but I think since the Credit Suisse merger it firmly deserves to have a Tier 7 made for it
Credit Suisse was full of reckless, risk-taking people who drove their company into the ground, and obviously we don’t want them. UBS was full of very conservative, respectable, and slow-chugging professionals who grew their bank into a small powerhouse. We don’t want them either
No but jokes aside I think Santander is still a rung below DB at the moment, and even SocGen. They’re not serious about this. Probably in Tier 5 based on @Relaxer’s list
I heard they’re quite good in Madrid though but I’m saying this based on London
I feel like Wells gets in tier 3, at least by virtue of it being American. Maybe you could argue it was tier 4 in recent years but now its cap is lifted the only way is up
