Hello I am a student and I'm looking for a job

Tell me a time when the future didn’t seem uncertain.

Also “studying finance” is a bit generic. You don’t become marketable just because you’re studying finance.

You can even send hundreds of thousands of applications, the more you send the more likely is that they are too generic and don’t address specific requirements (skills, experience) set by the employers, or they are too senior for you.

You have to focus your applications by leveraging on your skills or topics that you have been studying and in which you arguably excel.

But at this stage, I would say the first objective is to get the degree as better as you can.

Clarify with yourself what you want to do, then choose a suitable project for your thesis. Maybe ask your supervisor for a real-world application of your project, ideal would be finding an internship to develop it on-site.

Otherwise, before even getting a degree, you have zero to low chances to get a job offer.

… Touché. :joy::joy::joy:

Try applying for related internships too, small companies, big companies - whatever chances come up you grab it to gain the working experience. Visit campus recruitment booths.

And perhaps try creating a simulated trading portfolio using real-time market data, prove to the employers how much you know.
