Obviously a lot of people in this industry were propagandized by Wolf of Wall Street, American Psycho, Wall Street etc. at a very young age, whether they realise or not
That being said, what are your favorite movies, about this industry or otherwise?
The ‘Before’ Trilogy, especially Before Sunset.
I once spoke to a Goldman VP who said their favourite film was Whiplash because it’s a great example of perseverance and grit and that they looked up to the main character 
If we’re looking at movies that are specifically about finance/business, I’d have to go with the normie pick and say Big Short. (for TV, if you’ve not seen Succession, go watch it right now)
If we’re talking more broadly, anything by the Coen Brothers is up my street. No Country for Old Men and The Big Lebowski are the obvious ones there but I find that Intolerable Cruelty is incredibly underrated.
For more recent movies, One Battle After Another is incredible and I expect it to absolutely sweep the oscars.
I find these films tedious
