Life just feels pointless. I don’t hate working, but I hate repetitive, constantly templated crap that I do these days. This was a career sold to me as interesting, variable.
I don’t even order variable foods when I get it delivered to the office. What’s the point of any of this?

Take a sabbatical and come back fresh. some bosses do approve that . the fact of the matter is you need money for a decent life , so you need to keep generating as income. of-course there are more meaningful way of income like farming or Entrepreneurship . you need to have a purpose apart from routine work thats it .
This seems self-indulgent to me. If you have a job, count yourself lucky. If you have a job that pays well, count yourself luckier still. There is a generation of people coming up behind you that is struggling to get anything at all
Thank you everyone for your replies and concern… Certainly sparked a conversation.

This is no way to live. I understand the burden of man is to do regardless of desire to an extent, but spending two thirds or more of your life on autopilot is a worse than death
This is the fate of 99% of people - the sooner they accept it the better. There is no saving them, they have no souls, they are what we ought to call “hylics”, just human biomass, pointless, ground them into the dust like many have done before. Interchangeable
