Curious what people here think the world will look like in 2028. Is War in the Middle East really over? Will we back to $50 oil? Will the dollar be displaced? Will the US equity market crash or run out of steam?

War in the Middle East will never be over (credits to Kingdom of Heaven, anyone?) but with Iran probably, yes it will be over, and oil will be cheap again (for better or worse).
As for the US - unless Trump tries to stay on after the election in 2028, then no, I doubt anything will seriously impact US hegemony. In fact, just by asking this question, I think you are really quite severely underestimating it.
